About us 

At Oak Works we have been handcrafting solid oak joinery for nearly two decades. We are a family business with two generations of craftsmen working in our woodwork shop in Christchurch. We are passionate about creating truly beautiful furniture that lasts a lifetime.

Our Process

Each piece of furniture we create starts out life as a rough sawn piece of timber that is hand selected for its individual characteristics. Once the individual pieces of timber have been selected each piece is machined with care and skillfully joined. After the assembly process is complete each piece is passed along to our talented polisher who hand mixes and polishes each piece of furniture to create a truly unique end result.
